Who can be a selected family member?

·Any family member (a parent, sibling, spouse or child) between the ages of 18 – 55 that the policy holder wants to protect against the insured peril.

How do I subscribe?

• By dialing e.g. *148# on Orange and follow the sign up instructions

• Through a dedicated Orange mobile agent

What information will I need?

·Full name of assured and selected family member

·Date of birth of assured and selected family member

·Phone number of assured and selected family member

·Relationship to selected family member

How do I pay the monthly premiums?

Premiums will be deducted automatically from insureds Orange Mobile Wallet

Risks Covered:

  1. Accidental Death: The insurer pays the sum insured in an event of accidental death of the insured to his/her named beneficiary(ies).
  2. Accidental Medical & Surgical:
    • a) Permanent Total Disablement: If the insured has an accident that causes permanent disability lasting more than one month, compensation may be paid up to the sum insured based on the schedule below.
    • b) Temporary Total Disablement: If the insured is partially disabled due to injury, a percentage of the sum insured will be payable depending on the part of the body affected, as outlined in the benefit schedule.
  3. Natural Death: If the Assured dies from natural causes (age or disease), but not due to accident or violence.

Who can subscribe?

·Anyone between the ages of 18 – 55 years who has an Orange mobile

Who can be a selected family member?

·Any family member (a parent, sibling, spouse or child) between the ages of 18 – 55 that the policy holder wants to protect against the insured peril.

How do I subscribe?

• By dialing e.g. *148# on Orange and follow the sign up instructions

• Through a dedicated Orange mobile agent

What information will I need?

·Full name of assured and selected family member

·Date of birth of assured and selected family member

·Phone number of assured and selected family member

·Relationship to selected family member

How do I pay the monthly premiums?

Premiums will be deducted automatically from insureds Orange Mobile Wallet

Risks Covered:

  1. Accidental Death: The insurer pays the sum insured in an event of accidental death of the insured to his/her named beneficiary(ies).
  2. Accidental Medical & Surgical:
    • a) Permanent Total Disablement: If the insured has an accident that causes permanent disability lasting more than one month, compensation may be paid up to the sum insured based on the schedule below.
    • b) Temporary Total Disablement: If the insured is partially disabled due to injury, a percentage of the sum insured will be payable depending on the part of the body affected, as outlined in the benefit schedule.
  3. Natural Death: If the Assured dies from natural causes (age or disease), but not due to accident or violence.

Exclusions:

  1. War, invasion, acts of foreign enemies, hostilities (whether war be declared or not), civil war, rebellion, revolution, insurrection or military or usurped power.
  2. Naval, military or air force operations; winter sports (except skating/curling); skin diving with breathing apparatus; rock climbing or mountaineering; potholing; parachuting; horse hunting; racing; motorcycling or scooter riding (except mopeds); air travel (unless as passenger).
  3. Suicide, attempted suicide, intentional self-injury, or insanity.
  4. Deliberate exposure to danger (except life-saving), or criminal acts by insured.
  5. Being under influence of alcohol or drugs.
  6. Medical/surgical treatment for sickness only: venereal diseases, malaria treatment.
  7. Any other exclusions as specified in the policy.
